The campaign form asks for a name, what the product does, the audience, and the problem it solves. A working name is enough. SignalSeek generates the search terms and the subreddits from that description and starts monitoring. You do not have to reply to any thread for the signal to build.
Your campaign list shows a Reddit demand signal badge on each campaign: Strong signal, Weak signal or Inconclusive. The badge reads No data yet until the campaign has run for a minimum number of monitoring passes and days. Strong means people are actively voicing this pain. Weak means there is little sign of it.
On Scale, the campaign's Stats tab shows the verdict with its four inputs: match rate, match volume, average quality and trend. Each input is marked strong, medium or weak. Tables by search term and by subreddit show which phrasing of the problem and which communities produce matches. You can pick a window from yesterday to all time.

The badge reads No data yet until the campaign passes a minimum number of monitoring runs over a minimum number of days. SignalSeek checks the subreddits every 15 minutes by default, so keep the campaign running and check back.
