Who we are
SignalSeek (signalseek.cc) finds Reddit threads where people describe a problem your product solves, and drafts a reply for you to post yourself. It is built and run by Jiri Sifalda. SignalSeek only reads Reddit. It never posts to Reddit.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, an optional name, and your password stored as a bcrypt hash.
- Campaign data you enter: product name and description, search terms, subreddits, persona settings, and your approve or reject decisions on drafts.
- Public Reddit content: posts and comments that match your campaigns, with their author usernames and links, plus the scores and draft replies we generate for them.
- Usage data: AI token counts and estimated cost per campaign.
- Billing data: subscription status and plan, received from Lemon Squeezy.
- Claude connector data: the grants you approve and hashed access tokens (see below).
How we use it
- To run your campaigns: find, score, and draft replies for relevant Reddit threads.
- To send the emails you asked for, and password reset links.
- To manage your subscription and plan limits.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in a database on a server we rent from Hetzner. The site uses TLS. The database and queue are not reachable from the internet. We keep a small number of rolling database backups on the same server.
Third parties we share with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with these service providers, and only what each one needs:
OpenRouter
AI model access, our main AI provider.
Receives: The text of Reddit posts and comments we score, plus your campaign context (product name and description, search terms, persona settings) to score matches, generate strategies, and write draft replies. It does not receive your email or password.
OpenAI and Alibaba Cloud (Qwen)
Backup AI providers, used only when the main provider fails and a backup is configured.
Receives: The same content as OpenRouter, for the same request.
Resend
Sending email.
Receives: Your email address and the content of the email: match and draft digests, and password reset links.
Lemon Squeezy
Payments and subscriptions, as merchant of record.
Receives: Your email address and account ID at checkout. You enter card details on Lemon Squeezy's page. Your card data never reaches SignalSeek.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
Website analytics.
Receives: Page views, device and browser data, and (Clarity) session interaction data. Both store cookies only after you accept analytics cookies.
Hetzner
Server hosting.
Receives: All data above is stored on a server we rent from Hetzner.
Claude connector (MCP)
- When you connect SignalSeek to Claude, you approve access with these scopes: campaigns:read, campaigns:write, drafts:read, and drafts:write.
- Claude receives the campaign, match, and draft data that a tool call returns. Anthropic handles that data under its own privacy policy.
- We store tokens only as SHA-256 hashes, never the tokens themselves. An access token expires after 15 minutes. A refresh token expires after 30 days. A refresh token is replaced every time it is used.
- The connector reads Reddit only. SignalSeek never posts to Reddit, and the connector has no posting tool.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Expired connector tokens are removed during routine cleanup when new tokens are issued. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and all its campaigns, matches, and drafts. Rolling backups are replaced within a few days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.
